Monkey Loft

Monkey Loft is a SoDo house-music club at 2915 1st Ave S, with an indoor main floor and a rooftop bar known as The Deck, an open-air space with a fireplace, heaters, and downtown skyline views. The booking is house and deep house, running late on weekends behind a 21+ cocktail-bar door.

The rooftop drives the venue’s summer calendar, including Shameless’s Thursday-night Deck’d Out series, when DJs play the open-air deck from evening into the night. The club has operated in SoDo since around 2013 and stays small and DJ-focused rather than a large concert room, which keeps it closer to a dance party than a staged show.
