Modular on the Spot returns for its 2026 outdoor season in June. The series is organized by Modular Seattle and runs in rotating Seattle parks — performers set up modular synthesizers in public spaces and play open-air sets, no PA, no stage, no ticket required.
The 2026 season runs June through September. Modular Seattle lists four outdoor dates: June 13 at Kubota Garden, July 11 at Gas Works Park, August 1 at Volunteer Park, and September 12 at the Pacific Science Center courtyard. Changes and set-time details are usually announced via Instagram at @modularonthespot.
MOTS is free and all ages. It’s the most accessible entry point into Seattle’s modular community — no bar age restriction, no cover, no gear required to attend. Modular Seattle also runs Modular Nights indoors at Substation on the second Sunday of each month for anyone who wants to see the same community in a seated venue context.
Current dates are listed on the Modular Seattle website.
